    Episode 157- Your comments on Bob Bettwy are right on, he is one of the best. He does do meets outside of So Cal, but not as many as he used to. I to am a PA announcer for track and do numerous meets around the Southern California area and some out of state as well. Unluckily there are only a few of us that I know of and we always try to get more. I would love to get in contact with the couple of guys you mentioned that you both thought were good too.

  2. Around the 20:00 mark you are talking about times. And in timing anything over 0 get rounded up. So in auto timing 10.241 becomes 10.25. If you have two athletes at 10.25 then you would look at the thousands time and break the time there. 10.241 beats 10.245.
    In hand timing if someone runs 10.21 that gets rounded up to 10.3h (the h for hand timing) and then you would add .24 to convert to auto timing.
