Episode 168: World Championships Preview: Part 1

With the help of a trio of guests, Jason and Kevin preview the field and multi events for the upcoming World Championships.
First, the guys are joined by multi event expert Frank Zarnowski to discuss Ashton Eaton, Jessica Ennis and all the athletes to watch in the heptathlon and decathlon competition. Then, Jesse Squire hops on to chat about the world record possibilities and American medal chances in the jumps and pole vault. Finally, Martin Bingisser breaks down the throws and also explains why higher qualifying standards don’t always equate to an improved competition.
